Conflicts

How can conflict be managed

  Conflict happens in many consequences and it is a part of the life as well. The reasons people have conflicts around us are caused by cheating, misunderstanding, disagreements, attitude, feelings, etc. So the big ones such as world wars , Iraq war to the small conflicts such as quarrels, fights, play tricks on somebody and so on. Actually, sometimes conflicts can be successfully avoided by our own. Nice attitude, pre-think others’ feeling before you do it and a humble character can all solve the issues of conflicts. So the two ways of managing the conflicts are avoiding win-lose strategy and pre-thinking the result we want.  

  Many conflicts are caused by the competitions, races and kinds of the competitions which has a winner in the end. This kind of win-lose condition can judge the abilities of the person fairly. But it causes many conflicts. Causes comes from the touching of the body, the desire of winning, the different ideas in the same situation. But nowadays people have tried many ways in order to avoid the conflicts. They use other ways to judge the winner instead of the win-lose strategy. I think the procedure of competing and the experiences and knowledge is the most important part in the completion. Now let’s share some ideas of avoiding conflicts. First, if we work in a group. We mustn’t judge or criticize any group members. Then, we should impose the will of the group member instead of taking advantages of others. Besides, we should never express the serious dominance like criticizing others. A nice way of discussing with others is a better choice. Next one is reviewing. In order to continue the discussion, first we must participate in the discussion, second we should summarize what we have discussed and to make the plan to go on the discussion so we can find the solution as soon as possible. It’s very important because review can help us to find more problems we made and it can significantly reduce the risk of conflicts. So if we work in groups, the examples I had listed are the methods I can manage the conflicts. If we successfully avoid the mistakes we made, and we can avoid the conflicts in some aspects.

  If we want to take all the things into account, we must do the pre-thinking and do a complete plan for everything which might cause conflicts. Someone said:”Think before you act and act on what you believe”. It means that we must make a right decision and do it before you act. But, You knew how you were viewing the situation was not helpful, but you continued to let the doubts work against you. Or, those times that you behaved in a way that was not in line with how you know you should behave and handle situations. In instances like these, we are usually aware that what we are doing is not ideal, but we haven’t really identified the best way to break the cycle. So we should do more arrangement that can let us be out of the issues and the problems we are involve in. So pre-thinking can really help us to get out the problems and help us to avoid the conflicts.

  When you realize you are not responding in a way that is ideal, stop yourself and course correct. Better late than never. Don’t continue to go in the wrong direction if you can help it. Correct any thoughts you may have that are working against you. Choose to realize you made a mistake and turn things around immediately so you can move in a better direction. Conflicts are all because of the unaccomplished considerations and too much desire to win. If we handle both of them well. I think conflicts can be all avoided.
